Youth Leadership Development

Today’s youth are not waiting for tomorrow to become leaders. They are taking positive steps today to change their communities. Their success is exciting to help develop and grow. The Florida Office of Drug Control’s Empowering Youth Initiative is dedicated to giving Florida’s youth voice in the Florida Drug Control Strategy. Working within existing youth serving organizations and schools, we are helping them to understand the extent of substance abuse problems in Florida, the powerful solutions available to them and the tools they need to be successful.
